Current opening: Project Manager/Project Coordinator
A day in the life:
- Manage projects including project team direction, coordination, monitoring schedules, and budgets
- Communicate with clients, agencies, stakeholders, and the public
- Assign, direct, and review work undertaken by staff to ensure that projects and submittals are completed to a high degree of accuracy
- Project management responsibilities including financial, schedule, and scope management of projects
- Manage staff for technical project activities, assist with staff development, and provide input and recommendations relative to staff needs, performance, and remuneration
- Liaise with clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience in Project Management/Design Management/Construction Management
- C.E.T./A,Sc,T,/P,Eng or PMP designation a requirement
- Strong project management, technical and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of contracts formulation/management a must
- Strong technical writing skills; experienced in the preparation of correspondence, reports, and proposals
- Effective verbal communicator, including presentation, facilitation and listening skills
- Experience in leading a team
- Strategic, analytical and practical thinker
- Credible knowledge of relevant municipal, provincial and design standards
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and Passport
- Must be willing to travel in Canada and internationally
